Here's another clip that I did, going for more physical action this time. No real workflow change for this one, just went right in there and moved forward with more breakdowns and polish wherever I needed it to get done, so I don't really have any clean comparison movies, but I can playblast whatever saved scenes I have if people are interested. ________________________________________________________

AWESOME!!!! LOVE it JD! :) Also the hi-res video really helps shows all the details in it that I didn't catch before when you showed in the workshop.
Everytime I watch your works it just makes me realize how much more I have yet to learn!
Hahahaha, Ting, you're the fastest commenter I know!! And thanks!
Hey JD,
Awesome clip! But can I say something here? I know it is a very cartoony animation, but if you track down your root arcs you will notice that you are pulling a Bernie when the character jumps in the barrel.
Anyway, awesome clip :)
Wow!It's really great.Thanks for sharing.
HAHAHAH! Nice one Bernie! You're right, I did, but I felt it was visually acceptable once you play it in real time. Love the eagle eyes though, well done!!!!
Haha, what can I say? :) Love your animation posts a lot and I have an alarm that sets off when you post something.
I think this is my favorite among the 3 so far you did, definitely can't wait for more!
"definitely can't wait for more!"
Oooh, don't tell my wife! :)
I think some more family time is in order, but I already have ideas for new clips!
Haha! You should spend time with your family then!! :) And Indy and all. But when you are going to animate more, I'm definitely looking forward to them!
God your good! Could you mentor me please because i'm crap! Though I really do have TONS of potential, I just need someone to show me what i'm doing wrong now and again :(
[please don't tell me to go to AM since i ain't got that kind of money :) But Whatever you say is cool because I am always inspired by your work]
@anonymous: Hahaha, that's quite an exaggeration, but I appreciate it.
If you live in San Francisco you could attend one of my workshops?
Great, i'll see you there!
Just kidding, of course.
Well I guess it was worth a try :)
awesome dude! i donno how you squeeze all this animation plus a full day at work! haha you must be crazy fast at animating!
Once you have a plan of what you want to do, the animation goes along much faster. Just don't start animating for no reason. Know what you want to do.
JD, this is so true! Sounds like something simple, but makes ALL the difference.
Thanks for the enlightenment!
