This is pretty cool (and reminds of Grease Pencil). There are a lot of cool features listed, but I haven't tried it yet. Anybody have any experience with it?
But that low price totally devalued the work behind it. It's the Wallmart effect. Some apps and games are very complex and you can tell there's a lot of work and support behind it. But it would never sell at $30, $20 or even $10 anymore, because everybody was forced down to $0.99 just to be able to compete. Sure, it's good for the consumer, but unless you sell a ton of apps, how can that low price generate enough profit to pay the workers behind it?
But that cheap cheap cheap mentality goes both ways. No wonder there are so many "free" internships or Digital Domain having students pay to do their work. Companies can't pay huge salaries if products are devalued. But at the same time they figured: "Free internships work because most companies realize the benefits that can be gained by paying their employees nothing".
And the overflow of animation graduates is like the appstore. There are so many of them, and so many are willing to work for free or at a super low price, how can other animators compete if their salary demands are too high?

$100!!!!
Someone who expects everything to be free! What a surprise.
It's the entitlement generation. I blame Apple's App Store. $0.99 for programs and games, crazy! Totally upset the current prizing expectations.
Who said anything about expecting it to be free?
App store works because most sellers realize the benefits that can be gained from selling more at a lower price.

Now it's $50 btw.
I really want to get this plugin but 50 bucks is a bit much for me right now. I will have to wait, but I'll get it, as soon as I have the money.
