How to GROW AS AN ANIMATOR - Learn from Patterns! (hidden Pro Tip)

1. The main point of the video is to talk about how to grow as an animator and specifically how that relates to receiving notes.
2. As a student, you should be receiving feedback on a weekly basis from a specific person, such as a mentor or teacher.
3. If you see repeated notes, it is important to figure out why that is and to ask your mentor or teacher what the problem is.
4. It is important to understand the patterns in the notes you receive so that you can avoid making the same mistakes repeatedly.
5. If you are a leader or supervisor, it is important to identify patterns in the notes you receive from clients and to explain those patterns to your team.
6. Even if you don't agree with the notes you receive from a client, it is important to understand the client's perspective and to use that to improve your work.
7. It is important to take notes from multiple sources and to use those notes to improve your work and grow as an animator.
8. In order to grow as an animator, it is important to be open to feedback and to use that feedback to improve.
9. It is important to ask questions and to seek clarification when you receive notes that you don't understand.
10. When you receive notes, it is important to understand why the note was given and to use that understanding to improve your work.
11. As an animator, it is important to be proactive and to seek out feedback in order to improve.
12. It is important to remember that feedback is subjective and that different people may have different perspectives on your work.
13. When you receive feedback, it is important to consider the source and to take into account the experience and expertise of the person giving the feedback.
14. In order to grow as an animator, it is important to be open to feedback from multiple sources and to use that feedback to improve your work.
15. It is important to be proactive and to seek out feedback in order to continue to grow and improve as an animator.

Ask #chatGPT: What would be the best way to learn 3D animation?

With chatGPT showing some remarkable results across the board, I definitely am curious about how it could help me out in my workflow when I animate (like recently it helped me combine a few Python scripts into a window with buttons for each script, which dummy me can't do).

But I'm curious about other areas where I do have knowledge in, so I asked it the above title question. This was the result:

The best way to learn 3D animation can vary depending on the individual and their learning style. Still, others may prefer to learn through books or other written materials. It's important to find a learning method that works best for you and your learning style. Here are a few general tips for learning 3D animation: 

• Start with the basics: If you're new to 3D animation, it's important to start with the basics and learn the fundamental concepts and principles before moving on to more advanced topics.

• Practice, practice, practice: Like any skill, the key to improving at 3D animation is practice. The more you practice, the better you will become

• Use tutorials and instructional videos: There are many tutorials and instructional videos available online that can help you learn 3D animation. These can be a great resource for learning new techniques and improving your skills.

• Join online communities and forums: There are many online communities and forums dedicated to 3D animation where you can connect with other animators, ask questions, and learn from each other. These can be a great resource for learning and getting feedback on your work.

• Experiment and try new things: Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things when it comes to 3D animation. This can be a great way to learn and improve your skills.
