Rhino House - Reference Library

I've been using Rhino House for a long time and it's a must have tool for animators! Highly recommended!
I got the DVDs as well but the online portal is really slick. The analysis tools are very neat.

And to add to their awesomeness, if you join my workshops or classes you'll get a huge discount on their monthly subscription!

Head over to rhinohouse.com or their Facebook page for more info.

The Pod

Love it! More info here.

ngSkinTools

It's been so long since I've rigged anything but I've always had huge problems with painting weights.

The clip for ngSkinTools seems pretty cool, has anybody used this?

Game Old Boy

"Consumption of comedy, coffee, cola and junk food was part of the process for making “Game Old Boy”, which is a 48 hours animation jam. It started out as a 24 hour project, but the critical and ambitious brain took over and forced the project into overtime."

Basilisk

You could argue it's one of those chase/run things again, but I can't help myself. I love it! Found via @jamaalbradley

“Animator’s Survival Kit” iPad App

As Cartoon Brew points out, at $35, it's a lot cheaper than the DVD box set!

I played around with the free sample version and the presentation is pretty cool. Intuitive and when you look at video examples you can scrub through the shot and also frame by frame it. Onion skinning is also there:

C-Wars

That whole Kickstarter page for C-Wars is giving me a nerd boner!

There's a lot of cool material on the kickstarter page, lots of animated gifs and making-ofs:

Star Trek Into Darkness - Final Trailer

Sweet new trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness! This was my 2nd Star Trek movie to work on and it was again a blast! There's a lot of variety on a show like that, from creatures to digital stunt doubles, vehicles, weaponry and camera work!

Above are some of the shots I worked on which cover pretty much that list (except creature). Just like in the first movie the majority of work is vehicle and camera work and it's always a very cool learning experience to make camera movements look like the surrounding live-action shots.

TXT ISLAND

Old, but I hadn't seen it before. Cool example of how sound and music can enhance a "simple" look. Here's the site for it.
